Had a wonderful b’day present last week in the form of a visit from my kid sister. She lives in Delhi so getting together means juggling schedules, pet sitters, airplane tickets, figuring out touristsy stuff for the kids to do, and other madness. It’s a whole project to organize, and a major expense besides. So how cool was it that she had an all-expenses-paid work trip to NYC, and could just add a week in Boston to it? Just in time for my b’day! Only downside is that she left today. Time to start planning the next vacation … argh! I can feel a headache coming on already!

Sisterly reconnection

Oh I love stories like this. I remember when my sister and brother came to visit me when I was living in Korea. Such precious moments.
