Mini-reunion

My friend and writing buddy Paula couldn't make it up to the VCFA symposium last week. So we decided to find a place half-way between us and get together for our own mini-reunion. Paula and I have known each other for close to two years, having met online in Uma's class. But we've only met in meet-space (hope I'm using this term correctly) once before, at the NE SCBWI conf. last year.

We picked the lovely Sturbridge Coffee House purely via google, and what a good choice that turned out to be! We were there for nearly four hours (actually Paula was there even longer, since she got there early) and we had a really nice visit. Missed all the members of our online crit group (UA, you know who you are) who weren't there. Even posted a joint message for the rest of the gang. We have to do this more often, Paula. And I remember those deadlines, so you better be working at it! Yes, I know I should start revising too ...

It was so great to see you yesterday, Nandini. Let's do it again in October!

Well, I better get writing; I know you'll be checking in on me in one week. Eeks!

Paula, it was so good to sit down and have a nice unhurried chat. October it is. Talk to you soon!

I love getting together with people I haven't seen in a while. I still haven't met up with my critique buddies, but maybe someday!

Hi Christina,
I love my crit buds too. I've only met a few of them. We keep planning on having a big get together at the LA or NY SCBWI. Some day ... :-)
