To the ten odd people (and my Mum) who read this blog--I’m taking a break for the month of April. Other things in life (or more accurately, in my kids' life) can’t be put on hold--karate, music lessons, girl scouts, baseball & softball practice, MCAS exams, April vacation and such. But I need to focus on the WIP otherwise my brain is going to explode. Plus, given the difficulties I had last week I want to keep writing while the words are flowing. What to do? Something has to give. So I’m pulling the plug on the online world (except e-mail) for a bit.
Will I survive is the million $ question. I'll be back in May to report how it went. Can’t wait to catch up when I get back.

Nandini, your schedule sounds a lot like ours! Have a wonderful rest of the month and I wish you much productivity! :)
Good for you!! It's always a good thing to do! I took the summer off from teaching so I can focus on the MS. Enjoy your April!
You are wise to do this. I know that I should, but for some reason (stubbornness? idiocy?) I keep putting it off. I've been plugging away on my WIP too, but in my case the thing that has to give is sleep. Fortunately, I need less of this in the springtime...
I like visiting your blog and reminding myself that there are others who do not live in their birth countries. It can be a mixed blessing, can't it?
It's difficult to balance it all, isn't it? Good luck with your MS!
Good for you Nandini! I feel your pain....it is really a juggling act trying to do it all AND write! Can't wait to catch up on Leela's star in May.
Good Writing!
Ladies,
Thank you for your good wishes! I'm having withdrawal symptoms, but I’m happy to say stuff is getting written, research is getting done, laundry is ... well I’ll get to the laundry this evening.
The final straw was the little league roster and practice schedules we got this weekend. Baseball season means the end of life as we know it.
Go Sox!
Good for you, Nandini. Sometimes we need to shut off the world, or at least the electronic one. Hope you come back with your muddled middle all worked out.
Hi Paula,
Thanks - the middle is slowly coming together - thank goodness!!
But I miss blogging ...
